The Tea Party is hot chocolate

I’m slowly learning to love The Tea Party again. Actually no… Not to love them… But for a long while after their break up I didn’t listen to their music because I couldn’t bare listening to the singer (Jeff Martin, he’s the one who left the band, the reason they broke up). Recently I listened to Tangents (their “best of” CD) and now I’m listening to Triptych (the CD that got me into that band). And I’m learning to not mind Jeff Martin’s singing. I know I shouldn’t care this much about a music group but The Tea Party is a Canadian band I loved… I’ve seen them live many times… I’ve met the band members… So that made me feel close to the band. And now it’s nice that I’m learning to like it again…

Late afternoon I went downtown to meet a friend and have a hot chocolate (very yummy with whipped cream and chocolate syrup on top of the whipped cream even)! I liked sitting there on the corner of Ste-Cath and Peel, watching traffic go by, people walking, etc. I saw like 5 cop cars too! Lots of police patrolling downtown! It’s neat to watch these people while they have no idea someone is looking at them…

Now I’m home and I’m tired and don’t know what to do. Actually I feel like taking a nice warm bath. And then I may listen/watch the Sigur Ros live concert… Or if something’s on television… Just take it relax and do nothing tonight sounds good! Tomorrow there’s packing on my to-do-list. And I want to get the key to my new apartment!!! The guy currently living there had told me he’d move out this past weekend and I’d get the key between 20-25 February, that’s now! So give me my key! Please!
