So the owner came…

And geez I hate that old prick! The 2 inspectors didn’t seem to be enjoying their job right now… The old annoying owner is just a bastard and makes people feel bad/angry! Why? Well the shy inspector was touring my apartment with his video camera. A second inspector came in to take a few photographs. After a couple of minutes the owner also steps insides and confronts me about the colour on my walls. I’ve got 1 nice purple/mauve wall and some neutral beige walls. I’m moving out soon. I signed the rules sheet which say I have to put it back to white. Then the owner asks me what I’m going to do with the coloured walls. His younger helper (son maybe?) is with us too now. I tell the owner that I’m going to leave it as is. The new person moving in signed the rules sheet, they are taking over my lease and I paid 100$ to transfer the lease to his name. I am not to be associated with this place after February 28th! So it’s the new guy renting the place when he leaves that will have to put it white. The owner then asks “He’s a foreigner right? Am I supposed to chase him all the way back to France when he leaves without painting the walls?” Then he started swearing “Tabarnac”, “Ostie”, etc, saying he hated colours, that his renters put red and blue walls and then leave and he has to paint it white. I told him not to swear when he’s in my house. He went on. I told him “Sir, you’re in my house, don’t swear like that, or get out.” And he went out, saying something like “I have to get out of here, I’m so pissed off right now, blah blah blah, I’ll see about this later”. He’s just a crazy old man. I’m sure his frigging house is painted. I think that man would like us to live in a white walled apartment, put no posters up, put nothing up to not ruin his walls!!! What a frigging idiot. I’m so glad he won’t be the one I’m dealing with anymore. CAN’T WAIT TO MOVE! And this isn’t the first time he’s a crappy old man. Also when I got an air conditioning unit, the same thing when they wanted to do some repairs in the bathroom, the same thing when the restaurant machine was annoying, the same thing when I told him about my fridge’s freezer.
