I’m going to faint!
I was laying on the couch sleeping/resting just after watching a movie, The Skeleton Key (an ok movie with a bit stupid ending). I then heard the owner with people knocking on neighbour’s doors to come in and inspect. They will be destroying the building next to mine and want to document the current state here… If any damages come they can then prove them. So I knew he’d eventually knock on my door too. I was just comfy, laying on my futon, watching the DVD extras, curtains closed, dark room. And then “knock knock” I get up very quickly and open the door! Mistake! Getting up quickly! I’m at the door… The owner is there trying to tell me what’s going on… And the only thing I can think about is “oh no… I feel like I’m going to faint, quick, find a seat!” I had a folding chair right near the door so I quickly unfolded that and sat. It must have taken about 20 seconds after I had sat to come back to my normal self. I don’t remember what the owner said to me during these 20 seconds…! And I don’t remember if I said anything… I think I remember saying something like “wait… I’m not feeling so good” or something. I don’t know though. So in a few minutes he’ll be back with the inspectors. But my place is a mess! I’ve got boxes everywhere. Shouldn’t the owner had called me beforehand to announce he was coming with inspectors??? It doesn’t matter now. I’m moving out soon anyhow. 6 days!
Yes he’s supposed to give you a 24 hour warning. Because if you hadn’t been there today, he most likely would have come inside without your consent. Which in my mind deserves an ass kicking.
6 days to go already? You must be nervous and that could be why you almost fainted O_o
