Bakeapples

After work today I went to Mont-Parent to pick up bakeapples. They are a special little fruit. It grows right off the ground on a little plant. It’s orange. It has the shape of a big raspberry. And for the taste, it’s unlike anything else, so I can’t describe it. They are delicious in jams, pies, cakes, anything!

So Happy and I went to get some berries! My goal is to pick enough for Winter. Until now I have frozen 3 medium-sized Ziplock bags, which is pretty good! Happy quickly found out these berries were yummy. She saw me picking them up. So she went to eat one… And another… And another… She was a bakeapple eating machine! It was funny to see… Happy and I fighting for the berries almost!
