YULBlog for February!
I didn’t think I’d make it to the YULBlog meeting tonight but I did! And I’m glad! Because it was a nice little evening. Strangely I didn’t take one photo!! I had my camera with me but didn’t feel the need to take it out. I was enjoying myself chatting with everyone…!
Of course my three companions from MatrixFM were present, Vanou, JF (congrats on the new job!) and Jean-Luc (thanks again for the beer!). It was nice seeing them again, really neat people.
Then I also chatted with Vanou’s mom, Johanne, a nice lady!
I chatted quite a while with Laurent, a French dude who got here about 2 months ago. Really interesting guy! It was fun! Plus I was his assistant! He was making videos and had a light… He filmed while I held the light! Great teamwork!
I had a quick chat with Ed about cuisine… He gave me the all important butter tip. I’ll know for next time I make a cream based sauce!!!
Mark and Allison were present! I was nice to see Allison there this time!
I also met people from the Montreal Metblog. Though we’ve been cooperating together for months I’d never met Zeke and André!
Quickly saw Patrick, Julien, Véro B, François and Éric. And the two redheads of the evening, “la vie en rousse” and “panthère rousse” which I don’t remember their names, but only that both were redheads!
I arrived home at about a quarter past midnight. I quickly showered, put my pjs on, and now I’m ready for bed! Mmmmmmmmm warm, soft, comfortable bed!

YUL says that “You can even decide to go to a table to observe in silence without declaring your arrival so you can observe this strange sociological phenomenon.” Gee..that suits me. It feels so good learning new things about Montreal. Merci!
